New paper models completed!

 One of our favorite sites for Minecraft paper models is pixelpapercraft.com

Aiden and I have made so many Minecraft models and last week we made some more! 

Wow!! A completed Enderdragon! And I made a diamond sword for one of my older models of Steve. 

Aiden rates the Enderdragon as 'medium easy'. The crafting table he rated as 'easy'.

The first one is all in one page, with no instructions. The second one is two pages, and includes instructions. They are both challenging, not as easy as they look. Can be a little frustrating to figure out the assembly on both. Requires over an hour for each.

Crafts and Baking!!

We made really cute little mushroom villages! With pathways and trees and even a pond! Good work students!! 

 

We also had a lot of fun with our spin the wheel games! We played the drawing game and also the craft challenge! We were challenged to build a model of a slide in five minutes, but we ended up needing ten! Look at the video of this terrific slide!! 

We also made CAKE !!!!

A new story book!!

Today is exciting because after several weeks of hard work, Yena, a new student of mine has completed her first full length story! 

It is the story of how she recently got a new pet. It was inspired by her excitement and also the book I illustrated, Katie P. Grace and the New Family Member

Making Paper Models

I finally got a new printer, so my students and I have been making printable paper models. 

You may know that I have a love of making things out of paper! You can see my other blog which is all about paper models! You can find many to make there by clicking 👉here. 💕💕💕💕😙

We can find so many on the internet, and today we used dDany from youtube.

Another day, another drawing - wow!

 Drawing is always fun, but even better is to draw with someone. We give our opinions and suggestions and encourage each other while we draw together. 💗😃

We Drew Greg from Diary of a Wimpy Kid

Summer is here!! Swimming anyone?

 It's now mid June. Do you know that the longest day of the year is on June 20th? It's called the summer solstice. 🌅

While we try to stay cool during the summer 😰 we can make things at home, draw pictures or write stories!
